What is KidSWIM?
The GMCF KidSWIM Club is a great place to gear up for a non-competitive Swim Team. You will gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to apply what you have learned in a more formal setting. You will learn persistence, self-discipline, and how to be a team player all while having fun swimming.
The GMCF KidSWIM Club is for swimmers who have mastered the following skills: can float on front and back, swim 25 yards, jump feet first into the deep end to enter the pool, are comfortable playing above and below the water, and can tread water for 1 minute. The GMCF KidSWIM Club is geared for beginners that have met the criteria described above through age 12. Swimmers will learn all four competitive strokes, turns, and dives.
Meet our coaches
Coach Carrie is a mom to three who homeschools, teaches swimming lessons, and coaches for the Central Vermont Swim Club Ice Breakers. Coach Brittaney is a Nurse, teaches swimming lessons, and coaches for the Central Vermont Swim Club Ice Breakers.
2023 Session Information
Practice is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 – 6:00pm.
Session 1: January 17 – February 16 (registration open NOW!)
Session 2: March 28 – April 27 (registration opens February 17)
Cost is $180 per swimmer
Registration Instructions
Step 1: Log in to your profile in our software system.
- If you already have a profile (you’re a member or you’ve participated in our programs in the past), please log in at gmcf.clubautomation.com and make sure that your payment method on file is up to date and all information is accurate.
- If you don’t have a profile, download our smartphone app (iPhone app | Android app) and click “Register Now” on the login screen. Alternatively, go to THIS LINK and click “First time here? Access My Account” and follow the instructions.
- When you create a new profile, create it for yourself even if your child will be the program participant. The process will prompt you to add family members in step 3 of the profile set-up process, which is where you can enter the child’s information.
- If you have trouble accessing your account, you can call the GMCF front desk at 802-223-6161 and they can assist you.
Step 2: At the time and date of registration release, click on the “Programs” icon in the app (“Series Registration” in the left side menu of the member portal) and then select your desired KidSWIM session. To purchase for a child listed as your family member in your profile, click on “Profile” in the bottom right corner and then click the arrow next to your name to toggle to another family member’s profile.
