New Management Team Member: Tom Nalepka

GMCF would like to welcome Tom Nalepka onto our management team. We have know Tom for a long time as he and Amy Macrellis have been dedicated members of our community forever. And everyone who has been to either of our facilities has seen Tom’s impact on our surroundings. For many years he would randomly drop us a new piece of hardware – something he just “whipped up” in his shop made of metal or wood, or both. His craftsmanship and amazing spirit led to us hiring his building service, The Kilted Carpenter, for our new gym in Hyde Park. And when we took on this new mother-of-all-projects, Tom was the only guy we would have trusted to do it right. For the last 6 months The Kilted Carpenter has orchestrated the monstrous task of renovating the building (with lots of help!) and the results are breathtaking.

And now we enter a new chapter with our good friend, Tom. He is taking down his Kilted Carpenter shingle and joining our team as our Building Manager. Not much will change in the short term as we’re still full bore with construction, but over time, as the big projects start to get crossed off the list Tom will settle into this new role as a caretaker of our entire 60,000 square foot facility. If you haven’t met Tom, introduce yourself – the wizard-level beard belies his gleeful personality. He’s an amazing dude with the most expansive skillset you have ever seen in one human being. We are honored to have him joining us as a leader in our business – welcome Tom!
