Zach is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach. He began to take an interest in health and fitness in high school, and has drafted plenty of weightlifting, bodybuilding, and sports specific training plans for friends, teammates, and athletes alike. In college he began working one-on-one with athletes in the weight room, and he’s also coached youth football. Zach has competed in multiple sports, including football, alpine racing, wrestling, rugby, and bodybuilding. Once he tried CrossFit, however, he was completely hooked.
Zach’s favorite thing to coach is grit and mindset – he loves to help athletes understand that anything is possible, and loves the look on an athlete’s face when they achieve the unexpected. Outside the gym, Zach loves most sports, as well as rock climbing and hiking. He’s a great cook, and enjoys practicing the violin to keep himself centered.
