The Wind Studio at GMCF is outfitted with state-of-the-art Concept 2 ergs, as well as some of our favorite functional fitness tools like kettlebells and boxes. This space hosts a number of classes focused on increasing your cardiovascular capacity and improving your rowing, skiing, and biking technique.
Prerequisites to note: Please consult with your physician if you have been diagnosed with conditions including cardiovascular disease, asthma, diabetes, low blood pressure or if you are pregnant or on certain medications.
This class is designed to help you reach a new level of cardiovascular capacity and endurance. We utilize all three Concept 2 ergs (bike, rower, and ski erg) to get you fitter and faster – moderate to high intensity.
This 45 minute class focuses on the full-body conditioning benefits of the Concept2 Row Erg. After a warm-up and/or technique developing, the bulk of the time is spent working through intervals of varying lengths and intensity levels. All levels of fitness and rowing experience are welcome.
This class combines rowing skills/technique work with functional movements (like kettlebell swings and box jumps) for a fun and exciting full-body workout that builds both strength and stamina. Moderate to high intensity.
