Green Mountain Community Fitness is once again hosting eight weeks of Summer Camp for kids ages 5-11! Bring them over to our facility for an adventure filled week, or choose multiple weeks to participate in. We have eight themed weeks to choose from, with a variety of fulfilling activities: swimming, cooking, playing in the mud, field trips to Sunrise, and lots of time for learning new skills and making masterpiece art! We look forward to having your child(ren) join us at GMCF for a memorable summer! Register for one or more, and join the fun!

Week 1
where’s the treasure
June 22-26

Ahoy explorers! Set sail for a week of adventure as campers follow maps, solve riddles, and search high and low for hidden treasure. Every day is a new quest filled with imagination, teamwork, and discovery! Onward ho!
Week 2
DEsign & Demolition
June 29-July 3
Campers will explore design, art, and creativity by safely taking things apart and rebuilding them in new ways. Using different art mediums, building materials, and hands-on challenges, they’ll fix, redesign, and transform projects into one-of-a-kind creations. This week is all about experimentation, and turning our “oopsies” into “wowsies.”

Camp, but weirder. Get your hands dirty and practice your gross motor skills this week. Parental Disclaimer: Expect a monumental mess; dress kids accordingly!
Week 4
the great camp cook-off
July 13-17
Put on your chef’s hat, because campers are in for a tasty week! We celebrate campers’ ingenuity and collaborative spirit in and outside of the kitchen.
Week 5
splish splash
July 20-24

Dive into a week of water games, slip-and-slides, and splashy fun! Campers will stay active, get wet, and laugh all week, with a special field trip to Wrightsville Reservoir for extra adventure.
Week 6
space cadet
July 27 – 31
5…4…3…2…1… blast off! Create galaxies, explore your creativity, and get ready for a week of being in space!
Week 7
rock ‘n roll
August 3-7

Sing, dance, act, and create! Campers will explore music, theater, storytelling, poetry, and karaoke while bringing their own ideas to life.
Week 8
vermont forest & farm
August 10-14

Explore all things Vermont-esque! Dig through soil, plant some native flowers, learn about our roots and grit. Use your creativity and make something out of just nature! Maple syrup, animals, and creemees are all in your future.

Registration & Fees
GMCF Member Price: $325 per week
Non-Member Price: $375 per week
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Once registered, there will be a non-refundable $25 fee to switch camp weeks.
Late pickup fee policy: There will be a 10 min grace period before we start charging a late pickup fee. After the grace period, the late fee will be $15 after the first 5 minutes and $1 per minute after. Please call to notify us if you will be late – (802) 223-6161
Children ages 5-11 are eligible for camp. Campers must have completed 1 year of kindergarten (or equivalent homeschooling).
Registration for all weeks opens on 02/01/2026 at 10:00 AM.
Registration for each week will close two weeks prior to the week’s start date; no registrations will be accepted after this date and time.
A registration link will appear at 10 AM on 2/1/26. You will provide information about your child, including medical and insurance information, about yourself for contact and billing purposes, and you will then complete waivers and releases, prior to providing payment information.
Camp Routines
Campers need to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM.
Campers should be picked up between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. Please note our late pickup fee policy above, under “Are there any additional fees?”
The drop-off and pick-up location is the same: in front of GMCF by the tent in front of the building. Camp staff will be with campers at this location until camp begins or their rides arrive.
Registrants will be emailed a detailed schedule of the week’s daily routines for each week of camp. In general, there will be activities in the morning, a lunch break, and activities in the afternoon. All camp weeks will spend time in the GMCF pool and outdoors, weather permitting!
We will be doing a variety of activities, so please come ready for movement and fun!
Your camper should bring:
A pair of sneakers or active footwear (not flip-flops, crocs or slides)
Swimsuit and towel
A change of clothes
A snack and lunch
Sunscreen
Bug Spray
We ask that campers leave personal items like toys or electronic devices at home. They may bring a book if they would like something to read during arts and crafts time.
