The staff at GMCF are incredible—caring, kind, and completely judgement-free. They serve as supportive mentors who are genuinely invested in helping you succeed, no matter where you’re starting from. One of my favorite things about GMCF is the variety of movement options available. Whether you prefer state-of-the-art apparatus, dynamic group classes, personalized one-on-one training, or designing your own program, GMCF provides a well-rounded environment that caters to every preference. Another standout feature is the beautifully multigenerational community. GMCF welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, fostering a unique sense of belonging and connection. Personally, I’ve built lasting friendships here that go far beyond the gym experience. What truly sets GMCF apart from the average gym is the opportunity it provides to not only achieve fitness goals but also explore new skills and capabilities in a supportive, encouraging space. GMCF feels like much more than a wellness center—it’s a place to grow, learn, and thrive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a holistic, inspiring, and inclusive fitness community!

I really like this place. We have the aquatics membership which allows me to book a lane of the pool unlimited times 7 days a week and use the gym.... read more The staff is super nice, the bathrooms are always clean. We also do the private classes for our kids our teacher Brittaney is the BEST, my kids have gone from not wanting to put their heads in the water to diving, doing backstroke and a lot more! We also enjoy coming to the open swim which are not crowded and different times in the day. Today I used the gym and it was great, not crowded, super clean, tons of machines. I definitely recommend this place.

I have been working with a trainer, Michelle Black, for the past 6 months, and she has been AMAZING! She has really helped me build my confidence back up after a long break from the gym post-COVID. Her programming has helped me dramatically improve my fitness levels. I've worked with several personal trainers in the past and Michelle is without a doubt the best trainer I have worked with. I could tell that she was going to be great from our initial evaluation, she is incredibly detail oriented and knowledgeable. She's helped me so much, my partner is now doing buddy sessions with me! Also, all of the trainers / coaches I've met here are great. I've been to GetFIT, GMXFIT, and BarbellFIT and have had great experiences at each of these classes. Gary, Paige, and Tracy are all fantastic coaches!
I also love that they have food to go in the lobby, the meals from Locarno's are so tasty. I workout during my lunch breaks so it is super convenient for me to grab a meal before I head back to work. I also appreciate how much this gym cares about maintaining and upgrading equipment. I've noticed the members are very courteous here when it comes to reracking weights and wiping things down. I think people take a lot of pride in this gym -- I sure do!
Lastly, I want to add that I think this gym is a fantastic value. I think the membership dues are very fair considering the amount of classes you get, how large the facility is, pool / sauna access, yoga studio, pickleball, etc. Is a commercial gym cheaper? Sure, but GMCF has so much more amenities, and more importantly, the community here is AWESOME! Why would I want to go anywhere else? 🙂
