Operations Team member - 2 positions

Green Mountain Community Fitness is looking for two full time Operations Team (O-Team) members. O-Team employees are organized, friendly, motivating and team-oriented. They are happy to help members have consistently successful workout experiences by greeting them and addressing their needs with the utmost professionalism, kindness and care. Specifically, the O-Team employees are responsible for helping members navigate and participate in the activities offered at GMCF. This includes checking in members in a friendly and positive manner, processing payments, leading guest tours, keeping the exercise spaces orderly, and other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as an O-Team Member:
1. Open and close the facility (if scheduled for that duty) in a safe, efficient manner by following established procedures
2. Monitor check-ins
3. Manage phone inquiries and assist callers according to the company’s procedures
4. Process all monetary transactions on the point of sale system
5. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the equipment and group exercise environments, both in the fitness barn and pool area
6. Move the pool lane lines according to the daily schedule of classes, lap swimming, and open swim times
7. Respond to member requests, inquiries, and concerns ensuring they get addressed in an effective, prompt and friendly manner
8. Communicate well with fellow O-Team members as well as the Operations Director
9. Work when scheduled and adhere to company advanced notice policies
10. Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Director

Position Specifics:
Pay Rate $14 – $17/hr
Full time with 30-40 hours a week
Schedule is based on the needs of the department
(Opening, Mid-day, Closing Shifts available)
