GMCF hosted our first annual charity tournament called the Pickleball Meltdown! Proceeds benefited the Capstone “Fuel Your Neighbors” campaign. It gets pretty cold up here in Vermont and this campaign provides heating assistance and food to families and individuals in our region who might need some help. The format of the tournament was a scramble-style doubles tournament. Each player got 9 games of play and there were raffles and other opportunities to donate above and beyond the $40 entry fee. All proceeds went to the “Fuel Your Neighbors” campaign, as GMCF donated the court time and resources to run this charitable event. In 2025, the tournament raised and donated $5,280.
