Our Aquatics area will finally be receiving a long-anticipated makeover! We are making a long-term investment in the surfaces, access points, and aesthetics of the entire pool area, which we hope will create a more attractive appearance, improved cleanliness and hygiene, and an overall better experience for years to come.
The Timeline
The pool and aquatics area will be closed starting May 28th. Operations will continue as normal until May 27th (closed in observance of Memorial Day). Starting on the 28th of May, the entire Aquatics area will be closed and off-limits to members and staff not directly involved with the project for everyone’s safety.
We expect the work to continue for 7+ weeks. However, due to the nature of this project, it is not possible to exactly predict how long it will take. We will keep you updated on our progress (and maybe even include a few pictures as we go along!)
The Project Scope
The major elements of this renovation include the following:
- New pool deck
- New pool liner
- New pool drains
- New hot tub surfaces
- New all-gender & ADA-compliant bathroom with roll-in shower
- New ceiling
- New lighting
- New lift chair
- Additional slider doors (more natural light!)
- New ladders & handrails
