Introducing GroundWORK: A New Class at GMCF

We are excited to share a new class coming to the Earth StudioGroundWORK. GroundWork is a new and unique class designed to unlock strength through mobility and deep core control. GroundWORK kicks off Monday, September 15th from 5:15–6:30 pm in the Earth Studio, led by Cady Hart-Petterssen.

This 75-minute class is designed to unlock strength through mobility and deep core control. The Work in this class combines body-weight strength training with athletic flow patterns that challenge your core to stabilize, your joints to move freely, and your body to transition through positions with precision. Each sequence expands range of motion while building the strength to control it—creating durability, resilience, and power. The ground is your foundation, where mobility and strength meet to create lasting stability.

GroundWORK is also the first class in our fledgling WORK Series—a collection of classes designed to expand what movement means at GMCF.

The WORK Series:

  • GroundWORK: Builds strength through mobility and deep core control with athletic flows and body-weight strength.
  • FireWORK: Heats you up from the inside and out. Build mobility, stability, and coordination while challenging balance and igniting your inner power through intentional movement from posture to posture.
  • HomeWORK: Brings the Work to you—small, intentional movements that challenge your core, expand mobility, and build strength wherever you are. The Home becomes your studio, and every snippet a spark to keep your practice alive.

Each WORK class shares the same DNA: intentional, creative movement that challenges your body to adapt, flow, and grow stronger. Together, they offer a well-rounded way to move—whether you’re grounding down, igniting your fire, or keeping momentum at home.
