PSST…Power Surge Strength Training

PSST: Power Surge Strength Training is a 12-week small-group strength and education program created for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause. It helps us feel strong, confident, steady, and informed during a time when our bodies often feel unpredictable. If you’ve been feeling: low energy…“not like yourself”…confused by symptoms…stuck with your workouts…ready for structure + support…or craving community …then this program was built for you.

This phase of life comes with real physiological changes: fluctuating hormones, disrupted sleep, shifts in mood and energy, changes in joint comfort, pelvic floor symptoms, and slower recovery. Most traditional fitness programs don’t take this into account — PSST…we do!

The program blends strength, power, mobility, pelvic-floor-aware coaching, and weekly education — all inside a supportive, midlife-only community.

Schedule:

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:15am; 75 minutes
12 weeks

Each class includes:

  • Hormone-supportive mobility + warm-up
  • Breath-led core + pelvic floor awareness
  • Progressive strength training (barbell, kettlebells, dumbbells, sleds, med balls)
  • Power/impact training tailored for bone density + balance (options for everyone)
  • Short conditioning intervals that support hormonal recovery (not burnout)
  • A cool-down that helps regulate the nervous system
  • A quick, digestible educational “mini-lesson” on midlife physiology

Participants also receive a Program Packet with tools, a workbook, and resources to support their journey in and out of class. This is not a bootcamp or a weight-loss challenge. This is a smart, supportive strength program that honors the midlife body and teaches women how to train in the season they’re actually in.

Ideal Participants

  • Are in perimenopause or menopause (40–65+)
  • Feel like their workouts aren’t “working” anymore
  • Want strength and guidance without intensity overload
  • Are experiencing symptoms like, but not limited to, hot flashes (Power Surges), fatigue, mood shifts, sleep issues, or pelvic floor changes
  • Want a supportive community
  • Are nervous to lift but want to learn safely
  • Want to feel like themselves again
