Team Rising Tide Joins GMCF ENDURANCE

The GMCF ENDURANCE Team, a community-driven endurance sports team built for athletes of all levels who are passionate about running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, and all forms of endurance sport, is proud to announce that Team Rising Tide have become members! In December 2027, the four-person crew (which includes GMCF Executive Director/Owner Cady Hart-Petterssen) will be rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, 3,000 miles from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.

We are using this expedition to raise awareness and support for organizations that protect our oceans, expand access to rowing, and inspire future generations of environmental stewards, leaders, and changemakers.
We believe water changes lives. Our mission is to protect it, explore it, and share it.
Whether through science, conservation, education, adventure, or rowing, we hope this journey inspires others to discover their own connection to the water and to use that connection to leave the world a little better than they found it.

Team Rising Tide’s task is to compete in the World’s Toughest Row Atlantic Race in December of 2027. We will be rowing unassisted 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua. With your help, along with the team’s sponsors, they hope to raise $500,000 to support marine protected areas.

Watch for upcoming events that you can participate in to support this intrepid international team, including some right here at GMCF!
